Can you believe this year is half over? That amazes me. Seems like we just welcomed 2006 in and now its rolling down hill. I’ve decided to start next month (july) making Christmas gifts. Why? Because, as hard as I try, I’m not a last minute person. Maybe it was all those years of intense band camp and having to be on time or face the consequience. I’m always thinking ahead, planning things out in my mind, and setting everything in order. Doesn’t always go the way I plan it, but at least I have a running thought about stuff. So… that said. I’m thinking several doilies, as usual, some angel toppers, and ornaments for the trees, and some dishcloth sets too. Last year I made those angel dishcloths, and they came out very well. Its a free pattern from Priscilla Hewitt’s Crochet.
I’m searching for angel topper and dishcloth patterns this morning. If anyone has a suggestion lemme know. I’m open for all ideas. On a lighter note, the pool hit 90 yesterday. It feels soooo good. We swam until about 9pm last night. It was great. Hopefully, we will get the hot tub plumbed in pretty soon. That is so yummy when it gets cold outside. Something about cold air, and sitting in hot water. Its groovy. Kids have discovered the joys of a “spirograph” we found at a thrift store yesterday. best 50 cents I’ve spent in ages. Can you belive it was a vintage game, made in 1967 and still had most all the parts, and the original manual? I confess, I’ve been playing with it too. HEH. Have a great weekend ya’ll.
